Thought I'd have a bit of a dabble with HDR, so here's my first attempt. I've tried to keep it 'real' rather than giving it the OTT treatment.

Five images blended in ACR then transferred to Photoshop and given a bit of Nik.

Nice even exposure spread and tones, like the colour grading too.

What is the single middle exposure like as a comparison?

Thanks! I'll post the single image tomorrow. To be honest I could probably have manipulated the single RAW to get similar results.

I Think I might try 3 images next time with a +2 and -2 on the exposure.

I like the way everything is sharpened up and the colour is really nice. The pity of it is that HDR is a very handy tool, but it is also there to be used and abused!

Brian - I'm still feeling my way with HDR, I hope to develop a way of processing that suits my way of seeing the world and I'm going to give it whirl in Lightroom once I've watched the Youtube tutorials

Beautifully done. I don't like over-processed HDR, but this one is exactly right IMHO.

That is very pleasing Korks..... I love HDR ..And the fact that it makes us see what we ofTen can't capture in a single take.It has it's place also in surrealism for me too.

Well done  Sir .... it works brillaintly with that type of subject matter especially . Look forward to seeing more . I suspect people would be interested in seeing the images   that you started with  too ..
