Saw the neighbours having a lie in, so popped out in my dressing gown to grab a few shots. Here is one of em

That has a lovely early morning feel to it - have you considered a letter-box crop to get rid of a bit of sky and a bit of foreground?

I so wish we had a view like that one.

That's pretty much how I thought it might work - now that I've seen the crop, I'm thinking that the sheep on the far left should be blobbed out (not a technical phrase, but you get my drift) and that would give a lovely triangle of sheep in the frame and improve the composition no end.

We don't know each other very well Bill, so I hope you won't mind me doing a little edit to your image. This is pretty much how I saw the photo when you first posted - it's just a two-minute edit, but I think it gives an idea of the potential.

Lovely image, made even better in the final crop. It's got that really crisp early morning feel about it. When I first saw it, I thought they had little jackets on, but I don't think so!

I think we had the missing one on Monday  Bill ..! .  Hubby did a very nice rack of lamb with a celeriac mash !

The edit does  work though .. being serious....

I did take 1 without the left sheep, and also tried a crop of this shot with the ldfg one gone but because of the feed trough on the right it didnt seem right, but with your narrow crop Korky it works. Chrs mucho.

To Korky and all, do feel free to have a mess with any photo I put up.
