This last week I've come in from work and took the dog down the beach (as usual) and the light has been like this.
I know I've blurred the water and it won't be to everyones taste but that is just how it feels when you are there. It is calming, it is soft and the light has been incredibly delicate.

I'm usually the only one down there so the dog and I tend to disturb a flock of waders who scoot low to over the water, down the length of the beach and land again. As we head towards them they do the same in reverse - one of these days I'll take a longer lens to try to get some shots as I can picture a picture in my mind of how it will look panned with a low (ish) shutter speed.

Which ones Judy....I mostly remember his as being rather blocky  and  quite dark.... but I  didn't study his work a lot all those years ago... I don't think I appreciated abstract art much  when I was 18.....:lol:

Added a boarder BP? Hope he or she is paying their way. ;)

I'm blaming auto correct :ermm:

Just thinking that, in this light, it reminds me of the more gentle Rothko works :)

I knew and have liked those paintings for ages but didn't really know the name - just spent a happy half hour exploring them via Google.

Thanks for all the positive comments.
This being late example from my seascape period I believe a starting price of tuppence ha'ppeny should snag you a full resolution file

I'm  gonna have to buy one then .....what's the res on the  original size then  BP ....How  big do you reckon we can get a decent  print from it ?.. :yes

Once its straightened (was a bit wonky when shot) it ends up 2888x1625 pixels (about 4.7 million pixels) which at 180ppi that would give you a 16"x9" print though I'd imagine it would go bigger at there's no fine detail to deteriorate.

What's your tipple then . A pint of what ?

I hope we can get a get together arranged for the Spring... If we can start a thread that investigates the numbers that could be interested  we can then work out a place that we could find to suit as many as possible  and whether we should make it a day out or an overnight do so we can all have a pint !! .

Thanks again for the higher res version ... I'll bring it if and when we meet up and you can sign it for me ;)
