What was once the most common bird I used to see where I live 35-40 years, now I very rarely see them. Taken at Seahouses in Northumberland.

Canon EOS 100D, Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary, 1/640th, f/6.3, ISO 400, 388mm

That's exactly my experience too. I saw two in mum's tree yesterday,and honestly thought they were tits of some sort at first.

The dunnock is still alive, well and in good numbers though.

Nice image, although perhaps a little tight to the bottom of the frame. 

Yes, I thought that at the time, but just as I'd re-composed and pressed the shutter it decided to fly off, so all I got was a blurr of wings....
