Thanks Phil and Chris, I did get some funny looks as I was crawling about on the floor trying to get in front of them. They do look like they are a guded tour. A few secs after this they all turned and ran back to the parent birds. I was only going in town to pay a bill - but I always take my camera with me, as you never know what you might see. I ended up spending 40 mins watching them. There's been a Canada Goose sat on a nest for a while, and was still on Sat, but the nest was empty yesterday, so I'm assuming that these are the new hatched ones.

There's a pair of Swans nesting, so I'm expecting to see sygnets soon.
