Our Autumn is upon us.........

Usually, about this time of year, I post a couple of pictures that show what we refer to as 'our Serengeti look' - dry, yes, but grassy as well. We have missed out this year as we are desperate for rain. Took a couple on Monday morning, and I'm not sure if we are now the Sahara, the Kalahari or the Atacama!!! Look at the colour of the ground - and this is really the way it looks:

 

 

Not much for the stock next door to eat - as you can see they rely on brought in hay. Even our 'roos are struggling, so we are buying hay for them too :

That topped up our house tanks, as David did not want me to have to cart or buy water during his 'off period' - we still have 8,000 gallons - no probs.
