This is one I was playing with before Korky posted his 'Dus it, Dunt it' thread. Honest.

 

A new camera and very little to go at, just making the best of what I've been able to do so far.

I especially like the way you've got one sheep staring at you while the others get on with business. I can't quite make up my mind about that post, though..

I like everything about the shot except that flamin' fence post - but removing it shouldn't be beyond the scope of a man who's a bit handy with a with a clone tool.

 

That border looks terrific - suits the image perfectly.

Reminds me of a Far Side cartoon I've never seen online - a flock of sheep, one wearing earphones and he's singing along to the Beach Boys : "Baaa baa baa, Baa Baa-barbra Ann.." ... the look on his face when he realises he's been bleating out loud, is priceless. Sadly, I've not seen it for years.

Sadly I've not kept the full size edited version and I'm blowed if I can remember my process (suck it and see), so here's the small version edited.

I did originally consider removing the post but left it after removing the wire.

I've looked again and definitely prefer the version without the post, not sure about the space at the bottom with just grass. I quite like it in a way but am not 100% on it for some reason

Iwould have preferred the post in, as the focus point, lower angle, shee in the background (but Im weird....)

Still getting to grips with the camera. I've always been a RAW shooter in the past but at 33MB each they were eating up HDD space so thought I'd give jpeg a whirl (the shot above is a jpeg), at only 5MB a file why wouldn't you. The X-T1 handles them extremely well but as I'm a big lover of PS I miss the flexibility of the RAW files, time to get ruthless with the keepers/binners
