You can leave the "in mono" part of that sentence out altogether and it makes more sense to me.  :rofl:

Does P1 stand for "Powerboat 1" (the H2O version of Formula1)? Though watching some F1 GP's you'd be forgiven for thinking they should be renamed! I have nothing but deep admiration for someone who can drive an F1 car around a circuit when they're virtually blinded by rain and all they can see is the red light on the rear of the car in front.

Just checked, Performance 1

 

It IS the equal to Formula 1, all boats are the same config, same engine, prop, are all weighed at the end of the race, 70MPH,
