Some very nice quality mono  images there Rye ... especially good if you are a trainspotter .. I have to say I always try to guess to  guess the colour of a steam engine when I see it in monotone ....despite the fact that I do prefer the images without the colour  ? Odd innit ...

Thanks Clicker, in this case it was a green/black combination with gold lettering on a red background for the name plate. I've done a colour version for the Decembers TIPF in Focus.

This is probably the last time I'll get to photograph this steam train under steam as it's being retired when it's current boiler ticket expires in March next year.
