I much appreciate the interest and feedback that I am receiving regarding my recent Macro posts.

I will admit to being completely blown away by the results I am getting now.

The careful adjustment of flash power and diffusion combined with accurate focus in really work here...being able to use smaller apertures have increased DOF too.

Ref the APHID EATER...I didn't notice the Aphid until I put the pic up on my large monitor to process..

The Gnat or Drain-Fly is tiny.

 

I cant believe I captured the compound eyes of the fly...a very patient fly, because my focusing distance is circa 7 cm..
