This is the male half of a rather sad couple seen begging in Stratford-Upon-Avon yesterday.

I usually avoid this kind of Street  portrait, but having watched the Don Mc Cullin documentary the other night I felt better about it......both received a pound and a cold drink, which is what they wanted....

This is one that I do prefer in colour, to be honest I've never felt comfortable taking pictures of homeless people on the street. At one time it used to be a sight I only saw in Manchester or Leeds, but is now something I'm seeing on a regular basis even in Accrington.
