Just want to draw attention to anyone interested on catchup BBC4  Sunday night  at 8pm a fabulous programme showing stunning scenery called Life of a mountain : A Year on Blencathra . what I would give to be able to get up there to photograph it ...a Terry Abraham’s special . The winter scenes are spectacular ,!

I think if I remember correctly the composition was mainly down to the number of people about, so you've got to pick and choose your shots based on who's around. Castlerigg Circle is a popular spot for tourists to visit purely for the surrounding vistas. You do need to be lucky with the weather whilst you're there.
