Bendigo autumn at night

Bendigo creek is just a trickle through the centre of Bendigo unless we get really heavy rains (haven't seen that for a while). The reason the city was founded was its gold not its creeks and rivers. Alluvial gold was discovered along the banks of the Bendigo Creek in 1851 and resulted in a major gold rush.

The walking bridge Brian and I stood with our tripods to shoot this scene has bright lights underneath. It lit up the foreground & distracted from the reflected light on the water coming down the cobbled channel....... so I burned it in. Not sure if the JPEG file coped with this editing. I always shoot on RAW but found my camera was set on JPEG when I downloaded these images??!!

Did you copy and paste the text in the posts after the original post Cheryl ...  that might be the reason . Try deleting the text in an edit and re typing it again as opposed to copying and pasting if that is what you did and see if it goes back to normal then ....
