First attempt Kingfisher flight and stills

Went to Rye Mead this morning to try and get a Kingfisher in flight and doing a dive , had some success, but it was a learning curve, the area is very dark, hence the distant shots are hard to get , but I know where I went wrong so next time should be better , but for now I am very happy as its my first attempt at this area of imaging.

Well done. Number 3 coming out of the water is very nice, and also the last one carrying a fish. 

(I'm jealous, it always seems that whenever I see a kingfisher, it's when I'm going for a walk and so don't have the big lens).

Oh very well  done Roger ...  you really have excelled in your  quest to get bettere and better capturing this elusive bird ... you must be very patient  too .. I am most impressed.
