I flew to Alicante last Saturday. When we went to pick up prebooked car hire they had lots of hidden costs. They wouldn't accept that I had bought extra insurance and paid the car hire through a broker. They wanted 980 Euros deposit. 165 Euros car hire and insurance. 98 Euros for a tank of petrol. We told them to shove it and were stranded with luggage and a bike and had to get bus and taxi to our remote village in the hills. Then the next day when hubby unpacked his bike jet2 had mishandled it so badly his aluminium frame had snapped. We were stuck in a remote village for the whole week and all there was to do was go to the butchers the corner shop the bars of which there was 4 or laze by the pool. Camera was totally redundant! Have had full refund off car broker but jet2 will get back to me within 21 days!

Let's have a healthy debate about this. What do others think? I have often found that in other forums, people take a last minute snap shot just to enter as they have not tried or have time in the week. If you get in an early entry its usually because you have thought about it 1st and planned the shot. Then again people may not genuinely have the time until the weekend or last minutes.

It was actually very easy - I was surprised at the simplicity of it.

So moving forward we can take and post up to a Monday? Thats great because working full time, it was hard to take during the week and is a reason I missed an entry in Wildlife. Thanks Phil.
