  1. It is how one interperates it just needed to say that though yours was the best image I didn't vote for it cos I felt the brief was missed. Love the new theme however.
  2. Well done Phil a lovely image but I feel I need to make a small comment about why it didn't get my vote. Please don't take this badly. The brief specifically invited the photographer to look down however, Phil's shot is taken looking up and its the subject that's looking down. For me it didn't meet the brief hence no vote from me but it certainly was the best photograph.
  3. Kobione, Im not seeing your image. It may be my work PC, is anyone else having the same problem?
  4. This weeks challenge invites you to take a photograph that includes something red - it can be a predominantly red item or a red item peeping out from behind - as long as there's something red in it somewhere. Any interpretation, and post production allowed. So start looking for the colour red for an interesting image. Photo to be taken and uploaded by midnight Monday 24th August. Voting from Tuesday until midnight Friday 28th August - Winner announced Saturday 29th August. Don't forget to add a title and the date/ time that the image was taken. So get out there and hunt some red.
  5. Hooray......after last weeks near missmiss Im pleased Old Ted did it for meme this werk. I got him for my 1st birthday so he's almost antique! I still love him dearly.
  6. Don't we need the poll up or am I mixed up with the dates?
  7. Im easy either way it just seems the entries get a bit swamped.
  8. unless we have a chat thread and an entry thread for each challenge?
  9. So sad. Sorry to hear this however, you made the right decision. No one has a good life when in permanant pain.
  10. This weeks challenge is 'Look Down' - I like this idea and have some things I would like to try. I have noticed we 'chat' in the entry thread and really should keep that just for entries so how about we discuss the weekly challenges here instead? Makes it easier to see the entries in the entries thread.
  11. You pipped me at the post phoenix at my favourite genre. Well done. I said I wanted to pull at least 1 vote after last week rubbish effort and I managed that so I'm pleased.
