  1. I've had a light dabble with focus stacking in the past and enjoyed myself twiddling the focus ring and taking copious close up shots and stacking them in Photoshop. Well, I'm probably the last person on the planet to find out that you can do it automatically with the software that came with the camera. I'm talking about the Canon range, but I would be surprised if the other brands didn't have the same ability. So far I've only done 1 and it was purely as a test to see if it worked, and it did. Now for something a bit more interesting! 100mm Macro lens. Stack of 19 images @ 2.8f, processed with Zyrene Stacking software. Fluro lighting.
  2. I lived at the top of Sticklepath Hill for a while and my daughter still lives in Roundwell.
  3. Welcome from Oz, Trace. Don't worry if you stuff up, someone'll fix it up for you.

Congrats Fuji. I can't say I'm a cat lover but this is a great picture of a beautiful feline. Even I could love this one.
  5. Old hay barn at sunset. With not too many sunsets left in it!
  6. Be careful what you wish for.................. We in Victoria have been in drought for goodness knows how many years. Every time you see a cloud you think "hope it rains". Well, it did! Shot 24th Jan '16. I've shown this before, but as I said, we don't have many rain photos.
  7. Welcome, Roger. You'll love it here!
  8. My reflection in the reflector of a Vintage car headlamp, as a marshal wandered past.
  9. I'll put on a brave face and try not to tread on my bottom lip!
