  1. I have only been here a couple of months, Graham and I feel the same. This is the 1st forum I have been on and I like it so much I haven't bothered looking for any others. I was a bit nervous about posting critical comments of photos at 1st (kind of like 'who does he think he is') but, like everyone else I kept it constructive and not at all personal. I think that sums this forum up - everyone has respect for each other - and the ethos that comes across is most images have something to say. It really is great to learn from others who offer their wisdom and judgement on your images, I have learned so much already, and I think I am maturing as a photographer as a result

    looking back.

I found the same and just assumed it was loading both pages in one lol. As photographers we are our own worst critics. And always striving for better and better photographs, no bad thing there but we should take time out and appreciate what we have taken...I sometimes find that if I look back on previous images I can actually think, 'hey they aren't as bad as I first thought!'

    looking back.

That was a decent 10 mins...I don't see a lot wrong with most of them Leon...you certainly don't need to move on too far from them. They can't all be lucky!

    TIPF Meet up

Sounds good Festcu, looks like there are a few definite maybes now lol. Due to my commitments a sunrise at Bambrough would need to be in the early hours of late spring/summer...but I would love to get a pic of the northern lights...now that would be luck! When I post some dates up for people to look at we should mention giving lifts to any members on route

    TIPF Meet up

That's all the Kielder night meet is... it was BP who said anytime I want to go up there just give him a shout and he will see if he can come too, and I thought if anyone else wanted to come along they would be welcome too.

    TIPF Meet up

And that is the idea... Local meets can be from 2 members upwards and any time of the year. It just takes someone to suggest something and go from there, no real organising involved just a place, day and time. and anyone who wants to be a part of it can just turn up.
  19. Exactly like me, I just view them as windows shows them...in numeric or alphabetical order. If I want to change the order I just rename them to show up in any order I want.

    TIPF Meet up

The trip to Kielder was just a conversation between me and Black Pearl to meet up for the dark night skies around Kielder and I thought it would be good to invite anyone else who could make it. Because it is so far north I knew there would be some unable to make it and suggested people could arrange local meet ups more convenient to them. And maybe have a regular, yearly or twice yearly official meet up. Dates are always a problem and would have to be set when the majority of members could make it, unfortunately this would mean some members would miss out. But if there is a regular twice yearly event then there is more chance that those who couldn't make one could make the other or maybe make the dates for the year after even. This would compliment any regional meets up and down the country that members could organise among themselves, a good opportunity for people to meet up and take photos of their local attractions This was just an idea I put forward to see what everyone thought
