The image I have chosen this week is from a set that was well liked, but members favoured different ones from the set. This is the one I liked. It's sharp and colourful, it's got a nice diagonal thing going on, and I just love the men looking out from the footplate. I give you Steam Train, by Ryewolf. Well done Ryewolf! There's one picture this week that I keep on going back to, and the more I look, the more I like it. I'm not usually a fan of mono, but BP's The Rough and the Smooth has it all. I love the grand sweeping curve of the pier, leading the eye to the lighthouse, and the processing is superb, with lovely contrasts. I'd definitely hang this one on my wall, and would say it's well worth getting some funny looks for! Well done Beepy! Original thread is here.

I know this is a bit early, but I'm about to switch off the computer for the evening! There have been several good landscapes this week, taking advantage of the frosty weather and low winter sun. None has done it better than this one, by Phil. It's got everything - leading lines, great back lighting, and lovely warm colours. Well done Phil! The original thread is here.
