I looked it up, it was December 30th 2007 when my late wife and I went from Toddington to Cheltenham. We got off the train at Winchcombe on the return journey and we had lunch at a pub and caught another train back to Toddington. I must do it again but it won't be the same on my own.

    Tickets.

A great memory though, yes we went to Winchcombe as well.  Two trains came in at the same time but unfortunately both were facing backwards so it wasnt quite as effective

Nice image. I went from Toddington to Cheltenham and back some years ago, I understand they go to Broadway now. I must try it sometime.

Yes as I understand it you can go from Cheltenham to Broadway, seems like it could be a nice day out

That's just lovely Strav ...  gorgeous light and a really nicely composed image .. that is quite a challenge as you say ...  do tell us more ...

It was after a trip to Purton Ships Graveyard and we wandered further down to the docks but of course by that time the view was into the sun.  The way I often deal with it when filterless is using exposure compensation

  4. Nice one, Ive been to the minster, but not inside.  I guess you may be using a Canon?  Ive taken a shot at 25600 in complete darkness of Mevagissey quay and although the background detail was a bit messy, the main boat subject was fine.   Normally in darker indoor places I'll go up to 6400 and that usually does it and I dont get noise around that level

Very nice! Did they have any Aero 8s there?

The name rings a bell, now you mention it so maybe yes.  I was fairly confused by the end as there are so many models
