Yet another outstanding set Paul, it is getting very hard to say anything different in regard to your photography of this micro macro world in which you delve into nightly !

Got a call from my mate Bob this morning, asking if I wanted to meet for a coffee or two at a local flying club he was flying into from Biggin Hill. I drove the 20 miles there in the Van and we had our meet for an hour or so and as he likes photos of his aircraft, I took the camera with me.
His friend Nigel, a senior British Airways captain was in the right hand seat and filmed me photographing them just after taking off for home. You can just make me out at the end of the runway at 18 seconds in if you look through the video Nigel shot from the cockpit

Around 1000AM on clear mornings, a pattern weaves itself across the skies of Essex as contrails of morning flights from the continent and further afield arc overhead following the routes to North America.
just two images from my phone as I was undertaking the three mile walk to my town centre yesterday to buy some bread...

That looks a perfect place to while away an hour or so Fogey , I too like canals or rivers and have done my stretch of local rivers to death in photographs on here, but always like to see other locations and with autumn colours you just cannot go wrong

You would have thought that nowadays with digital print techniques that they could have done better than that!

Great pics Paul, but I'm afraid to say out of all spiders, the False Widow gets stomped in my Garden...my wife had a bite from one earlier in the year and it took ages to heal and was quite painful for her.

Could it be one that has previously fallen over long ago, but the roots have managed to still feed the fallen trunk promoting new growth?

Just had a mate on the phone laughing and said 'thats great I bet you had a few fooled by that photo you put on your facebook page'..... (a moments silence from me) ..I said what do you mean Bob? and he replied 'thats so obviously a video game screenshot' (this same image !) ... he knows I dabble in a computer sim called 'Farm simulator' .....
I dont know if I'm hurt or not! I have just sent him the exif details...
