i was really expecting to see a barrel of jameson whiskey come out of the ocean after him.  just like the commercials...  he looks like he's having the time of his life.

It's amazing how certain mutts take to water, no matter the weather, they plunge in regardless, and might need to be restrained in certain conditions.

Years ago, we temporarily inherited an old black Labrador cross, she loved the water, she loved fetching stones, she would spend frightening ages with her head under the surface searching for HER stone........she could get pretty upset if she couldn't find it, or, if we called her out before she had.

Yet.....the other day, I watched for some time, as a couple were doing their very best to persuade their relatively Young Labrador into our currently shallow brook, she, up to her knees in the water, calling the dog, and he on the bank .....the dog was having none of it.

Best thing to do with a dog like that is pick it up and throw it in. Once they realise its fun you can't keep them out.
