Model from studio evening.

I attended a studio evening with the local camera club. They were doing a tutorial night on lighting and although I am not a member yet we are allowed to attend nights like this.

I took a few just for fun and did enjoy the evening.

Very beautiful Cathy, you have utilised the evening well.

Great for magazine type shots, but, for me personally a little too static when compared with Street Portrature........

I do own a reasonable lighting kit but rarely use it...........sad really.

Beautiful girl and lighting Cathy and you have taken and processed it well.

I have to admit I always preferred using family, friends and work colleagues for my formal portrait work as professional models tend to have set poses they seem to go through. :)

Thank you everyone!

I enjoyed watching how he set up his lights and now would love to get a beauty dish to add to my lencarta home kit.

The model was his teenage daughter this was her first time modelling and she was a natural at it .

Here you go Cathy......Simples!

Almost any plastic dish from a Pound Shop will do.........Use any opaque material instead of a shower cap......white tissue......or even ....muslin.........or even a large hanky.
