One of my favourite cities, York........ We rented a holiday apartment for a week in the modern blocks on the riverside, a large flood was receding the day we arrived, later that week we were able to walk the river banks, past the park towards, the modern footbridge.

A whole week in one City and we never got bored once....so much to see and do, with ...Yorvik, The Minster, The Castle Museum, The Railway Museum, The Roman Wall, The River Trips....oh....and much much more:

One of our best holidays:

One of my favourite cities, York

must agree Fuji I arnt to far from it 20ml or so

Park and ride thats us, bus pass gives us 60p each in and nowt out what a bargain We can spend hours wandering, some lovely little tea rooms and if the missus fancies shopping there are quite a few nice man creches (pubs) where I can sit read and enjoy life till her return
