Seagull and Goose

It's a good action shot. The bird on the right is a Black Headed Gull in winter plumage (they lose nearly all the black in winter), regarding the bird on the left... a positive ID is difficult in this shot but I'm sure it's another species of gull. It doesn't look like a goose.

I am almost sure it is one of dozens of Canadian Geese on the pool at the same time...

 

Canada Geese have black necks and head with a white chin strap and would make that Black Headed Gull look very small, it's one of the smaller species of gulls. I can't ID the bird on the left except to say I think it's probably an immature gull, most likely a late arrival last summer.
