Thanks everyone, I've been trying to start an equine set in this style for a few weeks now but with all due respect some horsey people can be right snobs, I'm not sure what they think your going to do to their precious horse, eat it maybe? I don't know. I just want to try it on horses to see if it works or not

Hi, Paul,

Both of these a photographic perfection, the zebra just GLOW.....a real winner.

Horses,

Having grandaughter's totally potty about horses but at different ends of the horse owning spectrum.......one has richer parents so has access to posh livery stables and all the clubs ans events going with it.

The other two, have hard working parents who are able to rent a field and stable...... They just love hacking around the local bridle paths and taking part in small scale Dressage events if they can afford it.

Both families sensibly are very touchy over who has access to their valuable and well loved mounts, but only because of ...the theft of valuable tack......the vandalism and cruelty done in some country or semi rural areas, by the brainless few.

My advice would be to make initial contact with your local stable or stables through a single owner who you know or can be introduced to.......show them your excellent work and you will be IN.

Another approach, would be to contact your nearest .....Riding for he Disabled......centre, the staff at these are mainly volunteers who have a deep interest in all things Equine in conjunction with enabling young people gain confidence and ability on a variety of horses, ponies and donkeys.............Once established, you would find that many of the volunteers are private horose owners of means with great contacts.

Obviously the stables that will be most security conscious are Racing, Stud and Polo stables where mounts and tack are worth possibly millions.......surprisingly you might find that a polite approach to the lesser mortals, will open doors into their exclusive world.

Another way, probably the best, is to email a few of your best equine and the zebra shot to your local.....County Magazine.......to the.....Horse and Hound Magazine........or........any other relevant publication.......or......get permission to put up a few prints in local outlets that specialise in selling Tack, Feed and stables.

Forgive me if you think me patronising, but I seriously study and use something called ..SYTEMS THEORY......a lateral thinking method of making Systems ( any system) work best for you.

Onwards and Upwards my friend.

Hi Paul,

Just a thought but what about Stud Farms where they have specific breeds of horse.

Wondered if you approached them with the carrot of a couple of images they can use for their advertising etc, it may work.

Have you a Shire Horse centre they are quite often open to the public.

Love the Rhino and Zebra by the way.

cheers

Ron

approach them with the carrot......haha horses love carrots not sure a out their owners.
