By 'eck it were windy! I walked a hundred metres or so from the car, trying to avoid being blown off the footpath onto a barbed wire fence or down the banking of the sea defenses. My eyes were watering and the tears were going into my ears. To stop the camera vibrating in the wind I had to lie down among the pebbles on the beach. But I have to say that I'm much happier with this shot than previous ones with the sun shining and a clear blue sky.

Have not posted for a while, So I hope C&C is ok....  Image has lots of water, moody sky, and for me the main focal point is a little on the small side, Maybe a crop could help.. as always just MHO...

I like this one. A simple composition that works. You have certainly captured the atmosphere of the storm with the dull greys in the sky and sea. The image has a nice balance for me.

.....I think that there is even more drama to be gained if you selectively tickled contast and tones to add even more depth and texture.
