i like the textures in the feathers Fuji but i do think its a shame to lose the colours in them... any chance we can see the colour version for comparision ?

I could do that Heather,but you would be very disappointed, because Mallard Drakes are very tatty at this time off year.... They begin to shine again just prior to courting early in the New Year......Look closely at ths one and you will see what I mean.

Had a little crop, as pic left seemed a little empty ????

For me this crop looks stronger as an image, hope you dont mind me having a go

PHOTOGRAPHIC HATES? Milky white water falls and waves...that bloody single hawthorn tree in the Dales, sunsets and sunrises unless they are spectacular.
