I've prepared a mono conversion of this shot that was originally destined for my 'Area 52' blog.

Seems as though I'll be a day late with that quest but you guys get a sneak preview in full colour and black & white.

i love the close up black and white one most, it seems to bring out the textures in his face and whiskers more

Sorry but there seems to be little gained from the b/w conversion and the story of a man with a camera and what he is taking a picture of is lost with the crop.

If you showed me the bw version it would be difficult to know he is holding a camera, where as the colour version gives you an in-sight to what he has and what he is doing.

He was actually but wasn't taking a picture......

Think it was his much younger girlfriends very small compact he was scrolling through trying to locate pictures of his other steam powered engines he wasn't able to bring to the show.

A true character in more than one sense :)
