I hear what you are saying and I have many with and without the hats. She does look very nice without I will post one when I get it finished.

I used red clamps on the blanket background to hold it up and it has created a pink cast which I need to get rid off

This is not a paid session just a freebie to let me practise which is great! So mum won't mind if it takes me awhile lol!

Cathy, these are very beautiful, you are obviously enjoying your foray into this niche genre of photography......not just knowing how to handle your camera, lighting and lenses, but ensuring a good working relationship with new parents, especially mothers.

Thank you all!

I do love the little newborns and just need to get my camera technique right and maybe in the future a better lens.

Mums love being here they just chill out behind me enjoying a nice lunch and a cuppa :)

Lol! They can be doll like you are so right. It is all down to what the parents want and how much they are enhanced digitally.

I had one mum a family member who wanted her newborn in a dinosaur outfit lol! she loved it and I prefered the shawl shots :)
