I do have a confession, I do something a little controversial, as your all aware wildlife togs have many tricks they use to get "the shot" well my trick is to play bird calls through my phone, now I only do this out of breeding season as I don't think it's fair at that time of year but a few believe it's the work of the devil. You could say that baiting an area is the same as animals get used to easy food and then have it taken away. The calls certainly work, they even work on mammals too

Heck Paul I wish I had thought of this, I do carry bird seed in my pocket to bait the area I am watching. Where do you get the bird calls from...?

I wondered how you had got so close to a most elusive and speedy little bird.

I know that tweeting like a Robin, sometimes gets a real one to pop out OF a hedge to challenge the unseen intruder.....only yesterday I successfully did it, but my 45-100 lens isn't the best for wildlife.

Many moons ago I could attract the birds by whistling.........it is totally non-PC nowadays ;-)

I bet Korky and Herr Lumix used to too?
