Out and about doing my Street Photography thing....ISO sky high together with the shutter speed, I came face to face with a retired Pro Photographer; who often stops for a chat and an exchage about the merits of Digital Vs Film......He was a dedicated Film Man:

He was approaching me in full sunlight, so this had to be very quick off the mark................Yes!...I know...lighting could be better, shouldnt have chopped his chin off...but, I just wantd to play with High Key Mono:

Best viewed LARGE....Click on Pic:

Thanks Fuji, as you have given us the chance to be behind your camera, I feel a little description helping us know where you are etc, helps members give "correct" C&C..

For the top end of the greyscale, the image has only just flared, and as for the Film lovers, the image looks like a pushed ISO lol

The softness and sharpened area's are very obvious, but do work...

I really like the image,

Thanks for posting, and using Mono too...

Cheers

Steve.......Thank you for your very honest and well thought out feedback.......I knew I was pushing the boundaries more than a little with this one.....but what is life if you can't do that on occasions.

Having never really been into film, I hardly know what difference there is.....but I do know that High Key or Noisy creations seem to twang the braces ( to borrow a Korky expression) of the Arty/Creative types.

I remain in a very creative frame of mind currently.......must be all that rain?
