Clearing My Head

While I thoroughly enjoyed the two bottle of wine I drank last night I had a slightly muzzy head this mornings.

I needed it cleared so after dropping the little'un at school I headed down to the coast to for a blast of sea air - which there was a quite a lot of I can tell you.

 

I've tried to make this into a bit of fun by using the files I took in different ways - so - you've got colour & monochrome, multi shot panoramic, sweep panoramic, slow shutter speed, video and slow motion video and a splash of tintype.

Very nice images - number 4 does it best for me. I like the video too, that there iPhone 6 is some piece of kit. 

 

But that music.............. It sounds like it's been created with a ZX Spectrum sound chip married to a Rolf Harris Stylophone and pushed through a tiny speaker sat in a Tupperware box.

Probably best to just watch without sound - I had to grab something from the free section at Vimeo and the choice was poor.

 

The TinType is an app for iOS and the same one I've used for my profile picture.

I like the first and the tintype, especially.

 

What's the difference between sweep panoramic and multishot? (My new camera takes panoramas - you can hear the shutter going like mad as you pan the camera..)

 

Thomas Newman.. was he the guy who did the soundtrack for that game about the little robot? Oh what was it called. Machinarium, or something like that?

Sweep panoramic on the iPhone stiches dozens of image slices together - like your camera is doing with its shutter hammering away - as you sweep it over the scene.

The other panoramic shot was three images I stiched in Photoshop.

It was Tomáš Dvo?ák who wrote the soundtrack to the game - Thomas Neeman does loads of movie soundtracks like American Beauty and Finding Nemo.
