I am enjoying them both. But number one is definitely the better in my opinion. Some lovely colour in the sky. Could it have been even better with the light house somewhat more off centre? Lovely image though.

I love (check my other posts) a good central comp and while I did take some off centre versions this was the strongest of the files I worked on in LR. I know it isn't to everyones taste but it is something I have been doing more and more over the years and I just love the symmetry achievable.

 

The second shot by the way is just a bit of fun.

Number 1 really is lovely, that sky is just about perfect.

 

I'm with Kev re the compo, though. I'd much prefer the lighthouse to be on a third - I'm beginning to see that some of your central compos do actually work, but this time.....

I like #2  it's a very creative view.

I do like the experimental nature of #2 - I do feel that this is one of those occasions where the main subject would have been better NOT central, especially as it's deliberately OOF.
