I love how you've processed this - very nice indeed. Likewise, the atmosphere is great. But........

 

For me, the big, red sign that's smack dab in the middle of the image just spoils the composition.

 

Now, just watch some bugger disagree!

Have to agree about the reds, they do spoil the otherwise excellent processing. To my eye anyway

Hmm. It's a difficult one. I think the orange sign reflects the orange buffers on the locos, but perhaps on the whole I'd rather see it mono'd.

This is where I get kicked of the forum, --- I want to turn this upside down and say the sign IS the picture, and then it takes my eyes to all the amazing stuff around it and tells me how I'm going to get to Whitby on these lovely old steamers, --- Great PP work, I love it Kev,

I like a picture with a story and have to agree with Geoff , the sign does tell the story of the two trains rather well.

Having said that I'm not convinced about the processing of the 'reds' , the near train buffers need to be a little stronger (the far train appears to be so) and the sign I think a little less red - but that means faffing about so hows about a B/W version too?

Thanks Colin. Good point about the red on the near loco, I think it has been desaturated. I may have a play with mono this weekend.
