BP's recent purchase of an iPhone 6 and the brilliant video it produce has prompted me to have a go with the almost unused VIDEO camera on my super 41 mp NOKIA 1020 smartphone.

I use the camera, quite often, but have never touched the video button until just now......I watched a couple of YouTube tutorials on using the video for close up and macro.....here is my first effort.

I know that the .....End of Summer Wasps....just love the ivy flowers, so stayed a moment observe this one.....I am very impressed and must do it again with just a little more thought.

CAN ANYONE ADVISE ME ON UPLOADING VIDEO TO TIPF PLEASE?

I have a video compressor app that measures in MBs .....I reduced the beautifully clear video to 0.6 MB but the playback is too poor to use.

If I can upload to YouTube and BP can upload decent quality from his iPhone, what do I need to do to upload to TIPF at reasonable quality please?

But the footage is nothing like the original I see from the original file on my PC and iPad......do YouTube compress them?

Take a look at other Nokia 1020 YouTube vids.......most are just brilliant..... then let me know what Im doing wrong...

Does the Nokia not have a video editing app with output options for YT etc.

iMovie on iOS has various options for loading direct to the net.

Yours is uploaded to YouTube at 144p the other link has option right up to 1080p.

Look at your output options and make sure HD is selected.

 

Mine was shot and uploaded at 720p - the file was about 93MB.
