Number  1 does it best for me, Martyn. Very nice indeed - that sky looks terrific. I love how the wall and the path lead the eye to that magnificent lake.

 

Last time I was in the Lake District I walked to Innominate Tarn (one of Wainwright's favourite spots) and there were bloody hundreds there - it was like Blackpool sea front on a July Sunday. I'm glad you found a quiet bit!

 

I'm pretty sure there were moves to rename the tarn to Wainwright Tarn, but it never progressed.
