March of the Penguins

Recommended Posts

We made it to the Sealife Centre on Tuesday.
Although it was a lovely afternoon, I didn't get much in the way of good shots.
The lighting, apart from the penguin cave was dark and the plastic barriers were scratched and marked or rounded.
Never-the-less it was good to use the camera and try to get my hand in again.
These little creatures were quite mad and moved so quickly that the ones that I focused on soon went out of focus as they ran towards me.
At least I have a record of the visit and it was nice to see how they had built enclosures which were nice andd big with tunnels for the marine life to swim quite a distance.
I was pleased to see these little chappies enjoying themselves as much as they would have done in the wild.
I have a few shots of other creatures so will try to pick out the most usable to upload later.
