It's a picture I have fallen in love with...

Cheers Annie, I have the pleasure to walk the downs a lot and never fail to be amazed by a hundred views like this, so I can understand your feelings,

Thanks a lot for your kind feedback, I appreciate it,

This is just the kind of landscape that I can't practice where I live, and now tyat I don't drive.........

Broad panoramic landscape is something I have never set up my cameras for, I know the theory but never put it into practice.......until I do, I will continue to enjoy all the wondeful examples on TIPF and on other Forums.

Thank you for posting this.

mmmmmmm rather nice that one - is it a panoramic shot? Just curious about the letterbox crop.

Thanks a lot Colin, No it was a strait shot with a 24- 105 lens, I usually keep as much sky as possible buy I just felt this one was better cropped. I have done a 14 shot stitched pano of a 4 mile valley close by though.

Thanks again, I appreciate it,

Thanks Fuji, I have just explained to Colin above re the taking of the picture, which was a 24-105 full wide. That a shame you dont drive now, If I lived close I would happily take you out a bit for a few landscape shots,

Thanks again
