A Couple Of Garden Portraits

Recommended Posts

A couple of snaps taken in the back garden of the grandkids taken with my new 70mm f/1.8 lens, I have had to learn to use my left eye due to a sudden loss of sight in my right eye (long story) but they seemed to have turned out in focus. The only problem is my nose now smears the rear screen. ;)

Great family pics Oly.....

It appears that we two have something in common currently.......after my very recent retinal surgery it will take between three to six months before I know how well I will see again.....currently all seems to be on track.

Had a bit of a setback this morning when I had problems focussing for long when using my large desktop monitor......its early days yet though.

Thank you Fugi, sorry to hear about your eye problems and I hope they are resolved soon, I know how frustrating it is to not be able to do something you are passionate about.

Mine has come about as a rare side effect of aggressive chemo therapy and has effected the optic nerve( basicly the the heavy metal in the chemo has fried the optic nerve),they have put me on a very high dose of steriods for two months as this sometimes helps to heal the optic nerve.
