Although it's not a real lighthouse, the "pepper pot"  was based on the Eddystone lighthouse. It was well worth the walk up Hoag Hill in Ulverston to see the views over the lake district and the bay.

Lovely set again Martyn. First is my fav for the same reason as Kate.

 

They have an ancient old building high on Tennyson Down Isle Of Wight, that they call the Pepper Pot. I took the trouble to get to it once, when I reached it you could see no further than the end of your arm for low cloud...!

Eating our lunchtime butties on the hillside above Leighton Hall yesterday, we could just about pick this out on the skyline on the far side of Morecambe Bay.

 

Number 1 for me - very nice indeed.
