No expensive macro lens or ringflash for this one, I went for a walk and it was too warm to be bothered carrying my usual gear. I just put my 18-135mm lens on and went. I haven't had this lens long and considering it's low cost it has far exceeded my expectations. I've only used it for landscapes and general stuff until today and I thought I'd try it on this Lacewing... I seem to be able to focus much closer than the 0.39 metres  mentioned in the spec. It's no macro lens but it isn't that bad.
