This is Glasson Dock Lighthouse and the nearest I could get without breaking the law or trespassing. I know that this is the Landscape and Scenic section; if only I could move those industrial buildings.

Yes, that's the rascal. Such a pity about the Portakabin.

 

I wonder if it would be possible to go back mid-week and ask permission to take some shots from the other side of the quay. A bit of waffle about taking shots for future generations might do the trick. I think a square shot without the cabin might work.
