Angel Watching over Me

The Angel of the North, Sir Antony Gormley's wonderful creation. The cyclist shows how vast she is, as she watches over Gateshead.

That tiny looking cyclists makes what could be a cliched shot into something special.

It's difficult taking images of her that's not already been done and believe you me, I have tried. I agree, the cyclist makes the picture for me.

Do you know Ive always thought of the Angel of the North was a man

Must have been those calf muscles

(I have only seen pictures never been )

And yes without the cyclist its another angel picture, with good light and texture I might add

 The lighting, angle and composition is is superb,  plus a perfect example of how a the addition of a human being can really make a difference to a landscape photo - love it and I would put this on my wall.
