Chrissy, our newest member mentioned a talented Polish Photographer and Professor of Quantum Physics with the name of Dragen....he is very well known for his very strong Portrature as a result of strong POst Processing:

 

I never like to copy, but do like to learn, so here is the FUJI take on his style, but using my own post processing methods to give it EDGE!

 

This distinctive character was a Triker at a local event yesterday, just like Biker's, they look a rough bunch until you chat with them  about their amazing three wheeled creations, this one had a real laugh about this portrait...........

 

The negative from a photographers point of view, is that the midday sun was truly beaing down, he and the others were standing right in it...........the backgrond too was a challenge, hence my alternative tratments of the same subject.

 

This has been a steep learning curve for me, the technique has lots of creatine potential:
