Hills & Coast

Recommended Posts

Nice bright day - with the threat of rain but hey we're British - so over Cleadon Hills we went with and after a stop off at my mums for lunch it was along the coast past Souter Lighthouse and home.

iPhone only as it really did look like it was going to pour but that wasn't going to stop me grabbing a shot or two.

That there cloud missed dumping its contents on us by less than five minutes.

I was just wondering why you posted an out of focus picture of a lighthouse, then I scrolled up and saw the caterpillar :)

I really like the wide vista of the first one and although the tower is maybe a bit too central, the trail leading to it gives a great lead-in

I really like them both. The first is gorgeous, that sky is wonderful and I love the path leading the eye straight into the picture. Shot two is so different, A lighthouse and a caterpillar, love it.

Both superb studies of your local scene......you are very lucky to have such variety......the iPhone camera ( and the photographer) are pretty good.
