As you know, I often venture into the Underworld?

 

The amazing, damp-dark world of Woodlice, Millipedes and Slugs...............trying to catch a fast moving Woodlouse looking remotely interesting can be a real challenge....................my method, is to choose a damp warm evening, when I know that dozens will be lurking under my specially placed half logs.

 

When the log is turenedup into the light, the liveliest few scatter at high speed, but a few, like this one move that bit slower, or stop, as if to get their bearings....this one has done just that, giving me tome to focus on the eyes:
