IN A WHIRL

This very young Ugly Duckling was attempting to preen her back feathers, but the more she tried the more she went round and around a bit like a dog chasing its own tail, until she formed a calm water whirlpool.

Its a shame you didn't quite get all the 'whirl' buts its a lovely shot Fuji and one I would be proud of 

 

...might be worth going again, if you can get a little more on the right hand side I could see this on the Beeb's Country File calendar

You have motivated me to go back......not to the scene, but to my original RAW SHOT which, Im sure has the whole Whirl included.

My reason for the crop?.......The Rule Of Thirds......but in this case, it looks as if it was a mistake.

I will return to it tomorrow to see if I have included ALL that whirl.
