Macro flowers

Hi Folks
Can anyone offer any suggestions regarding the "ghosting" around the flowers on this
image please? It's a 6 shot stack, tripod mounted with manual focus incremental adjustments.
I used photoshop to align and stack the images plus some post in Lrc.

I have no idea why that has happened Mik  though I have rarely used "stacking "as a method of improving the  image sharpness and reducing noise. It seems to be most prevalent or at least more obvious on the top half of the image where the background is a lighter  colour  behind the flowers ...  Sorry I cant help there .....

I've never seen anything like that before. Is there any chance that there was enough breeze for the flowers to be in slightly different positions in some shots? And the ghosting is like an artefact from where there's a mix of green & white in lower layers?
