This, I first thought, has a very real.......Old Postcard ......look about it.......Great!

Until, I spotted that dustbin with a plastic bag liner :-( ........

........Get rid of that, and your creation is perfect, I have noticed that no matter where you point your camera, not just in urban areas, it is difficult to prevent modern life intruding.......even in my local small woods there are, official notices, information boards, obvious managed woodland, paths, woven fences, overhead cables and even a pair of tall phone masts in one field.

Most old houses and historic sites seem to take great delight in putting fire alarms and extinguishers and blinking electronic boxes in the most inappropriate places.....essential I know, but so intrusive to photographers and film makers who want yo record authentic looking shots.

That's a great bit of sepia conversion by the way.

I had to sing along with that little ditty.

Like Fuji I love the sepia converservion on this, where is this by the way?

I too find it hard when you spot something really old like a building or a car surrounded with modern day stuff. Lovely centuries old houses with sky dishes and ariel's.....grrr, I am not clever enough to be able to clone them out.

Must admit I missed the bin liner. It has now gone!

However, I didn't know whether this might be more appropriate.

You must sing a bit louder next time, Annie, so that we can all hear.

It is taken at Beamish Museum in Co. Durham.
